Finally home.

I'm writing this from my car (I can pick up my house's wi-fi signal all the way from the garage, apparently). Arrived earlier today. As soon as I got here I tried calling Kevin. No answer. I was trying to convince myself that he's just ignoring me, but after what happened with Carol I was starting to fear the worst.

I left no messages. I wanna keep a low profile while I'm here. I don't know if there's any proxies around and I would rather not find out. I decided to call another friend, Steve. Him and I usually went hunting together. I told him I was back for a brief period of time, and asked him to meet me in a small restaurant in the outskirts of town, near my house.

I met him about an hour later. We chatted for a while. He asked me where I had been, what I had been doing. I, of course, lied and told him I had gone to visit some family while I sorted things out. Then I asked him if anything interesting had happened while I was gone.

Oh boy, did something interesting happen.

Apparently Carol went missing about a month ago, so did Kevin, and so did so many other people. Remember that little girl I told you about? Carol? Hell, might as well call her by her real name, Stacie. She had a brother. Alexander. The poor guy shot himself a couple of weeks after she was found dead. I didn't know him very well, but he seemed fairly nice. Also, all of the hunters that came back from the woods are dead now. All murdered in one night. No evidence, no witnesses.

After our little chat, I thanked Steve for everything. We said our goodbyes and promised to keep in touch after I left.

I wish I could keep that promise.

Now I'm just sitting here typing this out. My battery is running low. Better turn my laptop off before it dies on me. I think I might go for a walk afterwards...

Wait, no, this place is plagued with trees. I can't go outside, not in the dark...

I guess I'm stuck in my car for the night then.

Until next time.

After the storm comes calm.

The last few days have been back to normal. Three out of the four men that came back from the woods have returned home from the hospital. They still can't remember what happened in the forest, but maybe that's for the best. I'm not sure I want to hear what went down there.

The fourth one is still in a coma. The doctors have no idea when or if he'll ever wake up. I just wish the best for him.

My little sister is getting better about her friends passing. My mom had a talk with her yesterday. For fu*ks sake, she's just eight, she shouldn't have to deal with this crap...

Carol is getting less nervous about that whole "Black Box" deal. She discarded the idea someone might be after her and she seems to be back to normal. I wish I could say the same about Kevin. He keeps saying people are following him and watching him when they are clearly not. The other day I made a joke about him being paranoid and the bastard just started yelling at me. Right there, in the middle of the street. I know this is all gonna die out eventually, but if this kid keeps acting like this he's gonna drive me freaking mental... God Kevin, why are we friends in the first place?

Today me and some friends are hitting the shooting range (It isn't really a shooting range, we just arranged a bunch of targets and boxes in a field). At the beginning my parents wouldn't let me go. The range is near by the forest and they are afraid the same thing that attacked the hunters is gonna attack me. I convinced them by saying that if the police hadn't found him/her/it, it sure was miles away from here. After that they left me go, but they insisted I was back before dawn and that I never got near the forest. I can't really blame them, I'm still a little scared myself...

Well, that's it for now. I'll be back with another update soon enough. But until then...

MORE Dead Animals???

Apparently Carol  wasn't the only one to receive a dead animal in the mail. As it turns out, many other people have gotten the black packages. My friend Kevin got a dead dog, and a guy named Shane got two dead squirrels. And those are only at my school. Apparently the packages were left all over the town!

This is just sick. I don't know who did this, but he/she must be a horrible person! I mean, FU*K! Little kids opened those packages!

I'm just glad WE didn't receive any packages. I want to keep my little sister away from this. Shes just 8 years old. I don't know what seeing gutted animals would do to her...

Kevin and I are going to visit Carol in a minute. Her parents left her skip school because of how scared she was.  I don't know if we should tell her about the other dead animals. I figure out if she's gonna get the bad news, she might as well get them from her friends...

Dead Animals?

Something horrible happened yesterday to a good friend of mine. Her name is Carol. She's a really nice girl, kind and smart. I've known her since we were on elementary school, I'm sure that you'll end up hearing a lot about her, as I see her every day.

Anyway. We're both walking back from school, talking about movies. Once we get to her house, she points out a black package that was left in her entrance. It had no stamps and no cards on it. I offered my pocket knife to open it. She opened the package right there on the entrance to her house.
I didn't see what was in the package at the beginning, I just saw her drop the box, fall to the floor, and crawl away screaming. I helped get back up, and tried to comfort her. Asked what was in the package.

"There is a dead animal in there!" She said sobbing.

At the beginning I thought it was just a joke. Carol was just messing with me. Either that or there was some fake dead animal on the box, and someone was just pulling off a sick prank on her. I wish it had just been a prank. I looked into the package, and that was a dead rabbit if I've ever seen one. It was... disgusting. I would really rather not describe it, it sickens me just to remember it...

I walked Carol back in the house and called her parents (They were out eating with some friends, I think...). They arrived about 10 minutes latter. I stayed with her a little longer, trying to make her feel better. When I thought there was nothing else I could do, I left and went home.

This just sickens me! Why would someone like that do something like that to Carol?

Starting up...

Hello everybody! Nice to meet you!
You can call me North. I'm a normal 19 year old. I live in a small town, with my family (my mother, my father, and my little sister). I go to school, hang out with my friends, play games, watch movies, read books...

Yeah. Maybe writing about how boring I am isn't a good way to start a blog. Relax. I promise I'll try and make it interesting, so people can enjoy it. It isn't like I don't have anything to talk about, I have my set of stories to tell, and I'm planing to get more in the future. Besides, there has been some strange thing going on in my town lately and I'd like to hear what people think might be going on...

I'll tell you more about it later. I have to leave right now. I have to get to my friends house, and I'm already kinda late. Until then...
